With a mission to connect and inspire the global sports community, we aim to build the world’s leading platform for capturing, amplifying, and sharing sports stories. As an early-stage startup, we’re seeking a talented Frontend Engineer to drive the next phase of our product evolution and shape the future of sports video content.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance Athleo Creator – our cutting-edge web-based sports video editing tool.
  • Implement intuitive, high-performance UI components using React, TypeScript, and Vite.
  • Optimize real-time video rendering and processing workflows.
  • Work with streaming media processing and video engines to enable smooth playback, editing, and effects.
  • Integrate cloud-based solutions (Azure or AWS) for hosting, storage, and video processing.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers and designers to build an engaging, scalable, and interactive video editing platform.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, and mobile responsiveness.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, Vite, and state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand).
  • Deep understanding of web-based video editing and streaming media processing.
  • Hands-on experience with video engines (e.g., FFmpeg, WebCodecs).
  • Proficiency in handling media formats, codecs, and adaptive streaming protocols (HLS, DASH).
  • Solid knowledge of performance optimization and WebGL/WebGPU for video rendering.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative development environment.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with cloud architecture and services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of server-side video transcoding, GPU acceleration, and edge computing.
  • Background in building social media or content-driven applications.
  • Passion for sports technology and interactive storytelling.
